Activities for 3 to 6 Month Olds
Here are some great activities for 3 to 6 month olds that you should include in your daily regimen that will help improve your child’s brain and physical health.

Reading to Your Baby
Books that have large and colorful images are great brain boosting activities for babies. Your child is sure to be very interested in the pictures while his listening skills will be improved by hearing your voice.

Striking Conversations with your Baby
Talking with your baby as often as you could is one of the most important activities that you should do on a daily basis. You can talk about anything at all. While having a conversation with your child, make sure that you keep eye contact as much as possible.

Playing with Sound-Making Toys
Toys that create music and different sounds when touched will enhance your baby’s brain. He/she will also associate the effects of touching things with sounds. Of course, the movements that he/she will make will also improve his/her mobility and physical health.

Differentiating Various Sounds
You can also sharpen your baby’s mind as early as possible by creating sounds using various items or toys and teaching him about the differences that each object makes. Allow your baby to do make the sounds as well as a means to be on the move.

Tummy Time
Tummy time is just as important to 3 to 6 month old babies as it is to younger infants. To make things even more interesting, make use of interesting looking objects such as those with various patterns, colors, sizes, and shapes for your baby to pick up and inspect.

Rolling Over
To strengthen your child’s muscles, back, arms, and legs, encourage him/her to roll over from his/her tummy to his/her back. Of course, you need to provide as much help as you can as your baby’s body is still fragile.
